About Me

Breed: Domestic Longhair crossbreed
Colour: White
Age: 8 Years (approx)
Ref: CW2026023

Tia was found as a stray and sadly no one has claimed her.

Tia is utterly ADORABLE! She is a quiet girl that was shy when she arrived but she now loves fuss and snuggles and will make somone a wonderful companion.
She would a love a quite home with someone that has a nice garden she can enjoy.

Medical Details
All-white cats, and cats with predominantly white ears / head, are very prone to sunburn of their ears/nose. This sunburn can go on to develop into cancerous tissue, known as Squamous Cell Carcinomas. These carcinomas become ulcerated and sore, and more often than not it leads to the cat having to have their ear flaps (pinna) completely amputated. This is the case for Tia, on arrival to our care our vet discovered that her ears did have significant damage and the best treatment to prevent any spread or further issue was to remove the pinnas - a surgery called a ‘Pinnectomy’. Tia has recovered very well from the surgery and doesn’t appear to have any concern with her new look!
