NEEDS TO LIVE WITH ANOTHER DOG
NEEDS A LARGE PRIVATE GARDEN
Hi everyone
I’m Bambi. Some call me Bambi-lion
I may be little, but I’ve got a huge personality and even bigger zoomies! My friends here say I’m the brightest little ray of sunshine, and I’d really love to find a family of my own.
I came to the rescue as part of a huge rescue operation involving over 250 dogs, and some of you may even have seen me on TV! When I first arrived, I was skinny, covered in painful matts and dirt, and I wasn’t in the best shape. But even after everything I’d been through, I still loved people and wanted cuddles from everyone I met.
While the team were clipping all my messy fur away, they realised I was having trouble with my back legs. One of my poorly legs needed surgery to help me feel much better, and I’m now recovering really well in my lovely foster home. Everyone says I’ve been super brave.
I LOVE other dogs. Honestly, I think everyone should be my friend! At the centre I mixed with lots of dogs, and now in foster I’ve met dogs big and small, a tiny Chihuahua all the way up to a giant Newfoundland and Neapolitan Mastiff! I’ve loved them all. Because I enjoy doggy company so much, I’m looking for a home with another friendly, playful dog to keep me company and help me continue building my confidence.
At my foster home I have also lived with cats and even a tiny foster kitten, and I’ve been a very good girl with them too.
The humans think my eyesight isn’t very good, but that doesn’t stop me enjoying life one bit! I still race around the garden at lightning speed having my silly little mad moments. Because I can’t see too well, I’d really love a home with a nice secure garden where I can safely run around and burn off my energy. Walks might take me a little longer to get used to.
I’m learning all about living in a home and doing really well with my housetraining. At night, I sleep on the bed with my foster mum and her Chihuahua it’s my absolute favourite place to be! Apparently, even though I’m only a little girl, I somehow manage to stretch out and take up most of the bed, leaving my foster mum and the Chihuahua trying to squeeze in around me… oops!
My absolute favourite thing in the world is cuddles. I’ll happily curl up on your lap, next to you, or even directly on your face if you let me. I just love being close to my people. Once I settle in, I’m the most loving, funny, affectionate little companion you could wish for. In my foster home it took me around 4–5 days to start really relaxing and showing everyone my true personality, so I’ll need a family who can be patient and give me time to adjust.
I’ve also met children aged 8+ and was very happy around them. I think I could live with sensible children aged 8+.
More than anything, I just want a loving forever home where I’ll feel safe, cherished, and part of the family for the very first time. Could you be my perfect match?
