Sweet Cotton came into our care from a household where he lived with a large number of other cats. He has understandably been very frightened coming into the cattery environment. He is only a young cat and is active and playful when no one is around. He appears to be very gentle natured, but he is unsure about interaction, he is going to need time and gentle handling to build up his confidence and trust.

Cotton is looking for a very calm household, he will need his own quiet place while he settles and lots of places to hide and sit up high, this will help him feel safe.

Ideally we would like to find him a home with a young and cat friendly cat, we think he would benefit from the companionship. He will need a slow and careful introduction.
Cotton will need lots of toys and enrichment to encourage play and natural behaviour.

He will need his own garden via a catflap and to be the only animal in an adult house.

Consistent kindness, patience and routines are so important for cats like Cotton to help him feel safe in his new home.
