MAX IS FIV AND WANTING AN INDOOR ONLY HOME.
Max is a handsome boy searching for a calm and understanding forever home where he can truly relax and be himself. He came into our care from a multi-cat household and has understandably found the busy cattery environment a little overwhelming, so he'll need a patient family willing to give him the time and space to settle in at his own pace.
As he came from a home with multiple animals, we feel he may have competed for food. As a result, he can food guard and eats very quickly. His new owner will need to take into account his behaviour around meals and preparing food in a kitchen.
Max is FIV positive and looking to be an indoor only cat, though he may also enjoy access to a secure garden or catio where he can watch the world go by.
To help him feel comfortable and confident, his new home should be thoughtfully set up with cosy hiding spots, climbing areas, and plenty of enrichment to encourage play and natural behaviours. Mental and physical stimulation icluding interactive toys and positive playtime with his people is perfect for him.
He needs an adult-only home with a consistent routine, where he can have his own space and build trust through gentle, positive interactions.
Max would like to be the only pet in the home-no other cats or dogs-and would thrive in a home with plenty of room where he can enjoy a peaceful indoor life. With patience and kindness, Max has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
