DESPERATLY LOOKING FOR A LONGTIME ADULT FOSTER HOME FOR THIS GORGEOUS AND SUPER SWEET BOY.

Rupert is a cuddly, intelligent and funny boy!

Despite his size, he is a gentle giant, a real softie. He has his favourite people who he gets super excited at when he sees, he becomes such a puppy and does zoomies! He loves a cuddle and a bum scratch. He is a very clever boy, he knows some basic commands such as sit, paw and down, and loves his treats. He just wants to be around us all the time, he will lay on our laps and have a snooze, but demands belly rubs while he dozes off! He walks alongside us in the activity area and is curious as to everything that we are doing. He has a lot of energy and loves being outside and walks really well on the lead. He is housetrained, travels well in the car, doesn't shred and LOVES playing with toys.

This is a massive turn around for him as he was nervous when he first came to us, and still can be wary of new people and other dogs, but with continued positive reinforcement training, we think he will blossom. Rupert has now started spending time with us in our on site office which he loves! He's such a good boy and just snoozes away in his bed, so if you're looking for a new PA while you work from home, Rupert could be the boy for you (as long as you dont mind some snoring in the background of your Zoom meetings!).

We have no history of Rupert having ever lived with children, so for that reason we are looking for an adult home for him. He will need a private garden with 6ft fencing. Ideally his owner will have experience with larger breeds and understand he will need time and patience to settle and build a bond with. Rupert is very intelligent and a quick learner, reward based training is the key to unlocking his full potential.

Why I'm special

To Anyone who is listening,

My name is Rupert, and I am a big guy with an even bigger heart though, to be honest, my heart is a little bit shy at first! My human tells me I am a 'very big boy,' but inside, I am actually quite a sensitive soul.

Because I take my job as a companion seriously, I like to take my time getting to know new people. I can be a little worried when I first meet someone new, so I prefer slow, careful introductions. I am not a dog who will jump on you or bark for attention; instead, I will likely just stay close to my human until I know you are a friend. Once I realize you are 'one of the good ones,' I will be your most loyal, quiet, and gentle shadow.

Since I am a bit of a homebody who prefers my own space, I am not interested in causing a stir or making noise. I just want a calm place where I can feel safe and nap the day away with lovely interesting walks in between. If we happen to cross paths, a little bit of patience and a gentle 'hello' is all I need to feel brave.

I am looking for a quiet adult place where I can finally have a home that I deserve after all I have been through. Thank you for taking the time to understand me and for giving me the chance to show you what a Good Boy I can be.
