Oreo and Moon arrived at the centre after a change in circumstance for their previous owner.
Understandably, the transition has been difficult for them, and they are often found curled up together in their favourite hiding spots when people are around.
Over time, both cats have started to grow in confidence within their new environment. They are beginning to explore their spaces more and enjoy treats from staff, although they are not yet comfortable with physical interaction.
Before spending around a year living outdoors due to circumstances beyond their control, Oreo and Moon were indoor cats who enjoyed company and attention from their owners. We hope that, with time and patience, their sociable sides will show.
As they haven't lived inside for a while, we would be open for them to be rehomed as farm cats. Suitable accommodation for this would be, stables, small holdings/ farms or a rural home with plenty of outdoor access.
In time and once they're comfortable, they may decide they would like more hands on contact with people, so are looking for adopters who will be happy with both outcomes.
Oreo and Moon are looking for a home they can share together again, could this be yours?
