Falcon arrived in our care after being found as a stray, and was overwhelmed with the cattery environment. He was initially worried by us but soon showed an interest in interacting and getting involved with what we are doing. Having been with us a short while now, Falcon is a very friendly boy who is always looking for someone to see or something to do. Falcon does struggle to a certain extent around high value food and can display elements of frustration around mealtimes, or treats, which his new owner will need to be prepared to manage with patience and structure following the behaviour guidance he will be rehomed with. Falcon is a big character and will benefit from a new home where he can be kept busy, ideally in a rural location with plenty of green space for him to explore. Falcon’s new owner will need to be experienced with cats and able to give him the time, space and support he needs to feel secure and comfortable in the home. As he is such a big personality, Falcon is best suited to being the only pet in an adult only home where he can be the star attraction!

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid. We can then make an appointment for you to come to the centre to meet your chosen animal before you commit to adoption.
