Hamish and Iona are a beautiful brother and sister pair of 5 month old kittens, ready to find their first ever home.
Hamish and Iona were born in RSPCA care after their pregnant mother was removed from a property in poor condition with too many cats. She has been a wonderful parent and her kittens have grown into well-rounded young cats who love to play.
As they have only ever experienced life in a Cattery, Hamish and Iona can be a bit worried by new things, but have shown us that they appreciate a gentle approach. Hamish is the braver of the two and will enjoy a little fuss. Iona generally prefers to take a back seat and watch from the side but recently has been enjoying little bits of contact with us. They both love to play more than anything in the world and would easily be won over by some great toys.
Hamish and Iona both have additional toes, known as Polydactyl, this doesn't affect their mobility or health but does mean there's a few more nails to keep on top of!
These two kittens would love a calm home with someone kind and patient, willing to show them the ropes at their own pace and slowly introduce them to their first taste of home life. Hamish and Iona are best suited to being the only pets in the home, and could live with children of a secondary school age or above following a visit to the centre.

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid. We can then make an appointment for you to come to the centre to meet your chosen animal before you commit to adoption.
