About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: 7 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI03344

Lando is a quiet cat with a gentle soul tucked behind his stern expression!

This sweet boy has found himself in our care after his owner sadly fell ill and could no longer meet his needs. Lando has known nothing but love and home comforts in his life but has experienced a fair share of loss and would really like to now find a new home to call his own. He is a sweet cat who enjoys calm affection from the comfort of his bed, and is a big fan of taking in the fresh air and watching the birds. Lando will do well in a quiet home where he can potter around at his own pace and enjoy some peace and tranquility. He can be shy in new environments so will need someone understanding to allow him to settle in in his own time and rediscover his confidence.

Lando has made it clear during his time in the cattery that he doesn't approve of other cats, so must be rehomed as the only cat in the home. Ideally the surrounding area will have a low population of neighbouring cats and plenty of space for any neighbours to spread out.
Due to his sensitive nature Lando would also be best suited to a home without a dog. He could live with older children who are gentle, pending a visit at the centre.

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid. We can then make an appointment for you to come to the centre to meet your chosen animal before you commit to adoption.
