Meet Otto, a stunning black-and-white, semi-long-haired beauty with mesmerising green eyes. This gentle soul has been waiting patiently at our centre since January, watching other cats find their families. Otto is a hidden gem who simply needs a special human to look past a shy exterior and offer the gift of an understanding home.
The ideal environment for Otto is a peaceful, adult-only home free from loud noises and hectic energy. Otto would prefer to be an only pet so he will not have to share the spotlight or feel overwhelmed by other animals. This quiet companion will initially require a dedicated room of his own to safely decompress and build up confidence without any disturbances. Adopters will need plenty of patience, allowing Otto the physical space to explore and initiate contact on his own terms. While Otto may take time to settle in, the reward of winning a shy cat's trust is unmatched. Otto’s magnificent, soft coat is perfect for gentle grooming sessions once a bond is formed, and will provide you with support and guidance around this as you progress.

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid. We can then make an appointment for you to come to the centre to meet your chosen animal before you commit to adoption.
