Meet Rolo, an 8-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is eagerly waiting for a new home.
Rolo is an excitable, affectionate dog with a big personality, who is happiest when around people he's formed a strong bond with.
Rolo has come into our care with minimal past information, but what truly stands out is his resilience. Despite the uncertainty in his early life, he remains trusting, loving, and eager to connect.
Rolo would benefit from living in an adult-only home where he can enjoy a calm and predictable environment. While he adores company, he struggles when left alone and can become upset if left for long periods of time. Rolo would thrive with adopters who are around most of the time initially and are willing to gradually build up his tolerance to being left. He can become anxious while travelling and will need patient, consistent support to help him feel more comfortable travelling in the car. Rolo is an excitable dog who enjoys being out and about, and will do well with an adopter who can help him continue building some walking manners.

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid. We can then make an appointment for you to come to the centre to meet your chosen animal before you commit to adoption.
