Storm is a young female pocket bully crossbreed with a sensitive soul and eyes that could melt any heart.
Storm was rescued from living in unsuitable conditions where her welfare needs were not being met, resulting in under socialisation and her understandably nervous response to new situations and some people. Due to her need for predictability and security, it's essential that Storm has a secure, private garden of her own to get used to her new surroundings.
Once her trust is gained Storm is a very affectionate, loving and funny character. She is particularly comical when given the freedom to run without restraint - she charges around at an incredible speed despite having relatively short legs!
Storm's lack of socialisation has resulted in her being slightly anxious when meeting some dogs and she will require ongoing training to help build her confidence and social skills. Storm is looking for a quiet home with owners who have experience of bull breeds and who have the patience to let her adjust to a new life in her own time. She loves company and so would benefit from her owners being around most of the time to begin with. Storm travelled well on a recent short car journey and seemed to actually enjoy looking at the passing scenery. She will need some house training while she settles into a new home, although she tries very hard to stay clean in her kennel, she's a bright spark who picks up training well.
Storm is looking for an adult only home where there are no other pets, to give her a stable environment where she can have the best chance of success. She is looking for a family who will be able to walk her in secure dog fields or areas where other dogs are kept on leads, as Storm finds it hard to cope with other dogs approaching off lead.

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid. We can then make an appointment for you to come to the centre to meet your chosen animal before you commit to adoption.
