Meet Zorro, a young male French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This lovely, friendly boy adores people's companionship above all else. His absolute favourite place to be is curled up right next to his person, soaking up all the affection and company he can. Zorro truly thrives on human connection and will make a wonderfully devoted companion.
Because Zorro loves people so much, he can become worried when left alone. He is looking for a home where someone can be around for the majority of the time to help him feel safe and settled. He forms close bonds and will need understanding adopters who are committed to supporting him as he continues to build his confidence when left alone.
Zorro has been fortunate to spend time in a foster home, where we learned more about him. At home, he can be vocal when visitors arrive, so he is learning how to greet them calmly. Once he’s said hello, he is friendly and pleased to meet new people. He enjoys spending time with other dogs and benefits from social interaction, although he can become vocal towards dogs when on a lead. This behaviour is largely frustration based and can be managed with patient, positive reinforcement training.
Aside from people, Zorro’s second great love is food. In his foster home he has certainly scavenged his way into some interesting snacks, so his forever family will need to be mindful of leaving tasty treats within reach. His love of food can also be a fantastic motivator for ongoing training.
We believe Zorro could happily live with a compatible dog and children of secondary school age who understand how to give him space when needed. He is ready to swap foster life for a permanent place in a loving home and a cosy couch he can finally call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will be happiest by your side, could Zorro be the perfect fit for you?

If you are interested in adopting an animal from West Hatch RSPCA, please have a look on "ÅÝܽÊÓƵ" in the first instance. Once you have seen an animal you are interested in, you can apply easily online via the link to a google form at the bottom of their profile. Once we receive the application, it will be reviewed by a member of staff, and if you are a suitable match we will then make contact to discuss the animal further. This will be either by email initially or by phone. We will then ask you to email us photos of your home and garden, as well as ID. This continues to replace the homevisit that we would have carried out pre-covid.
