About Bucket

Meet Bucket — an adorable male, neutered guinea pig looking for a patient and loving forever home with a female guinea pig.

Bucket was rescued by one of our officers and came into our care extremely shy and clearly not used to being handled. To help him build confidence and learn that people can be kind, he was placed into a loving foster home where he could begin socialising at his own pace.

He has already made lovely progress. After just one day in foster care, he was feeling brave enough to come out of his hide to explore, eat, and watch what was going on around him. Although he is still a little skittish, he is gaining confidence every single day.

Bucket is certainly not a fussy eater! So far he has happily eaten everything offered to him including nuggets, hay, and plenty of fresh vegetables. Meal times are quickly becoming one of his favourite parts of the day.

Bucket is not yet comfortable being held and will need a family willing to give him plenty of patience, time, and gentle encouragement while he continues to grow in confidence. With understanding owners and a calm environment, we are sure he will continue to blossom.

Bucket was recently neutered so could be bonded with a female g.pig from 26/06/26.

PLEASE NOTE - Our centre is appointment only. Due to a high volume of applications and emails we are unable to discuss the animals any further until we have received your completed application form. We receive a large number of applications for each animal, if you have not heard within 7 days of submitting your application form you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, please keep a check on the website as this is updated daily.
