    About the event

Walk to Remember is a do-it-your-way event, where you, your family, and community come together to walk In Memory of a beloved pet. By fundraising in your pet’s name, you’re turning precious memories into meaningful support – letting the love live on through every penny raised.

This is not a challenge – there’s no pressure or finish line. This is an opportunity to remember your pet and reflect in a way that feels right for you.

The event takes place on Sunday, 13 September 2026 – National Pet Memorial Day – giving people across England and Wales a collective moment to celebrate their pets and connect with others who understand.

Plan your walk. Invite loved ones. Celebrate your pet’s life.

    How it works

    • Sign up, create your fundraising page and receive your event pack with everything you need to host your own Walk to Remember.
    • Choose your route – somewhere meaningful to you and your pet.
    • Invite loved ones to walk with you or support you from afar.
    • Fundraise In Memory, with a suggested pledge to walk five miles and raise £100 for the RSPCA.
    • Celebrate your pet on the day – fly a kite, share stories, or walk in peaceful solitude.
    • Share your fundraising page and your walk using #NotJustAPet

    You could receive

    • Sign up before Monday, 1 September and you’ll receive a T-shirt.
    • Raise just £1 or more and receive a personalised commemorative keyring after the event!
